I have been writing craft articles for some time now, and I have always thought I should start a craft blog. Blogs are better for crafts because I can use tons of pictures, answer questions in the comments, and I'm not forced into any rules.
Before I get started with new crafts on this blog, I figured I would introduce you all to my crafty style with my crafts of the past.

zombie bear
I came up with the idea of a zombie bear some years ago. Not long after, ThinkGeek released their zombie stuffed animals. I love you ThinkGeek, but stop stealing my ideas! :)
If you notice, this zombie bear enjoys eating his own intestines. He has a magnet in his mouth and at the end of the intestine so it stays in place. The only stuffing in the bear's stomach is the intestine.

Fuzzy Totoro shirt
Totoro! Totoro! If you didn't just sing those two words in your head while reading them, then you have no idea who Totoro is and that makes me sad.
Totoro is the huge, loveable character in Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbor Totoro." He's pretty famous.
I decided to make my own fuzzy Totoro shirt using felt. The original shirt actually had a giant rooster on it (I was amused by the many jokes that could come from the shirt) but now the rooster is hidden behind the fuzzy Totoro.

8-Bit Yoshi Blanket
In my eyes, you're not a gamer unless you know Yoshi. I don't mean Yoshi of Wii fame today. You must know Yoshi's humble beginnings, from when he first hatched.
If you do know Yoshi, then you like this blanket, don't you? You want one, right?
It's easy to make, just time consuming. The process requires sewing together tiny squares so it looks like an 8-bit video game. It's the boredom that will kill you.

Corset tank top
I love corsets and anything that looks like a corset all laced up pretty. I decided to make a lace-up tank top instead of buying one I saw in the store. That's the kind of thing I do. I see something in the store I don't want to pay for and go home to try and make it myself. It's not only cheaper, but also creates a one-of-a-kind knock-off.
Next, I want to make lace-up corset jeans! Just wait, there will be a tutorial on this blog some day!

Mirror Mirror Nevermore
This Edgar Allan Poe "The Raven" craft is by far one of my favorites. It just looks so cool!
I found this amazing cut-out craft design from this neat website where this artist made a skull a day for a year, or something.
Check it out, if you want, it's pretty neat: Skull-a-day
I decided to cut out the Nevermore design using heavy card stock instead of paper, and then gluing it to a mirror so it stood out. It looks so awesome!
That's it for my crafts of the past, but just for now. I have a few more to share with you later!
